Gender Stereotyping is the unfair treatment between opposite genders. It relates to prejudice, discrimination, bias etc. It is caused by either judgement or false perspective towards a certain group, and can eventually cause a certain violation in regards to human rights. For example, in the field of employment, study of Heilman, (1983), shows that gender stereotyping can affect a woman’s career other than man, it can simply affect the promotions that a woman can receive.
